In 2023, our church launched a two-year generosity initiative called Awaken. Together, we asked God to deepen our faith, grow our generosity, and use us to make an eternal difference. As we stepped out in faith and trusted Him, we saw God do more than we could have imagined. Today, lives are being changed, barriers are being broken, and people across Indianapolis and around the world are hearing the hope of Jesus.

A Legacy of Impact

RELEASE
THE CHURCH

Revised version to be past tense: Throughout the Awaken initiative, we believe God had called His Church to take ground for the Kingdom across Indianapolis and beyond. Together, we cleared the way by helping people find Jesus, equipped for battle by developing strong and durable disciples, and deployed for impact by sending people out to make a difference wherever God placed them. Through it all, we saw God release His Church to advance the mission of Jesus across Indianapolis and beyond.

REVIVE
THE CITY

Revised version to be past tense: Through Awaken, we demonstrated our love for Indianapolis by bringing the hope and help of Jesus to neighborhoods across Central Indiana. As God opened doors, He expanded our presence and impact through existing and new locations, allowing more people across the Indianapolis area to experience the life-changing hope of Jesus.

RESTORE HOPE
TO THE WORLD

Revised version to be past tense: As part of Awaken, we partnered with strategic organizations already making a meaningful difference around the world. Together, we invested in efforts that brought tangible relief, developed leaders, planted churches, and cared for vulnerable children with the love of Jesus. Through these partnerships, we saw God extend His impact far beyond Indianapolis and into communities around the globe.

Spiritual Impact

When God called us to Awaken, He was calling all of us to step into a renewed life of faith and generosity. The past two years have shown us just how much the Holy Spirit has moved in growing us spiritually.

Financial Impact

When we give something physical to God, a shift happens inside us. We start to grow spiritually in new ways. We believe that’s why God asks us to give a portion of our treasure back to Him, because learning to trust Him with what we can see prepares us to trust Him with what we can

Jack and Kade’s Story

Before the Awaken Initiative, Jack and Kade were just going through the motions. What started out as a financial “yes,” turned into a true spiritual transformation. Now they are serving out of a desire to give back instead of just checking off a box, and God is using their willing hearts to reach others.

Missions of Hope International: Kibarani school

God is moving through your generosity, providing Missions of Hope International with the necessary resources to build the Kibarani school! This school is having a tremendous impact on the children and families in the community, giving people a place to land, worship, and experience the love of Jesus.

From Student to Missionary: Gabriel’s Story

One pillar of our Awaken initiative is to restore hope to the world: we want to link arms with strategic partners already doing great work locally and globally. Some of these partners are individuals, and in this story, we highlight one who grew up at Traders Point and is now serving as a full-time missionary.
