Every weekend Difference Makers play a special role in making every gathering happen. But more than that, they actively share the love of Jesus with every person they meet. From parking cars and serving coffee, to helping guests find their seats and teaching kids about Jesus, they're clearing the way for people to encounter God and build a relationship with Him.
Laura C., who calls Traders Point Plainfield home, has been making a profound impact as a Difference Maker. She shows up each weekend ready to make a difference, to serve with joy, and to connect with each person she sees. She shared with us that she couldn’t wait to start serving when she came to Traders. “It's just where I feel like I'm standing right next to Jesus, and He is guiding me to be that love to everyone, because it's that kind of love that forever changed my heart.”
You could tell by the way she served that her heart for sharing Jesus flowed out of a deep, personal relationship with Him. “I may never see or know the effect I have on others, and that's okay. I truly only want them to know the unmatchable love, joy, peace, healing, and forgiveness of our amazing God.”
Through serving, God has radically transformed Laura’s heart. She’s found a family in the other Difference Makers, and she’s learned to trust God more deeply.
As we pursue releasing the church in Indy, we want everyone who calls Traders Point home to experience the impact of being a Difference Maker. Through Laura’s story and many others, we can see the impact serving has had on their lives and those they serve.
