The time is now

The fall of 2023, we launched the Awaken initiative at Traders Point, and over the past year, we've witnessed God doing incredible things—changing lives in ways that leave us in awe. As we enter the second year of this discipleship journey, we're both inspired and challenged by what God continues to do in and through us as a church.

The Awaken journey is a call to a renewed lifestyle of faith and generosity—one that lasts long after the initiative is over. We’re committed to seeking His will and asking, "God, what do you want to do?”

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

A NOTE FROM PASTOR AARON

We are walking through the second year of a discipleship journey called Awaken, from Ephesians 5:14-16 NLT: "Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”

The Awaken initiative is a journey for all of us—it's about transforming one more life, leading one more person to Jesus, and helping others find the hope that only He can provide. Together, we get to be part of this incredible Kingdom work.

We're standing on the shoulders of the saints who gave sacrificially before us, and now it's our turn to step up in faith.

It's an honor and a thrill to walk this with you. Thank you for stepping out in faith and joining us.

First and foremost, this journey is a call to spiritual growth. It’s about being awakened to God’s heart for generosity. It’s about being awakened to perspective, significance, position, and action. It’s about stepping out in faith and watching our courage and conviction grow as we follow God’s lead.

Secondary Goal

$98,000,000

[Expanded from $84 million] We are trusting God to provide our expanded secondary goal of $98 million, not only for ongoing ministry at Traders Point, but for the expansion and compassion efforts needed to reach our community and beyond.

We have a heart for Indianapolis, and we want to do everything we can to bring the hope and help of Jesus into Central Indiana neighborhoods. We’re prayerfully considering launching future locations throughout the Indianapolis area.

One of the best ways we can make a difference is by linking arms with strategic partners already doing great work. We focus on choosing organizations that help with tangible relief efforts, leadership development, church-planting and making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

Our Goals

As God leads us on this two-year discipleship journey, what would it mean for your generosity if you were to awaken your understanding of who God is and respond with an eternal perspective? 

While God has significantly blessed and equipped our church for this moment, this is not about Traders Point. This is about Jesus and His power at work within each of us.

Primary Goal

Our primary goal is 100% engagement – that all of us would awaken to what God is calling us to in this next season. First and foremost, this journey is about growing spiritually.

Secondary Goal

Secondly, this is an invitation for a generous commitment of $98 million [expanded from $84 million] to propel Kingdom-centered initiatives in the coming years. We want to equip future generations by how we make a difference in the church today.

How This Works

The Awaken initiative is a two-year journey. During these two years, every gift given to Traders Point will be used both to continue our ongoing ministries and to invest in the vision God has given us for the future. Both priorities will be part of a single budget, set by the elders, in response to commitments we make during the Awaken initiative.

What's Next

We’re asking you to join us on a spiritual journey with God, to take the largest step of generosity you’ve ever taken, as we move together to take the largest step of faith we’ve ever taken.
